Type A-2 / Canyon Red | MJ21001
An icon of militaria first issued by pilots in 1931. This take on the classic A-2 from McCoy's features a newly developed Canyon Read Seal Brown leather which has been dyed using a pigment finish rather than the traditional aniline dyeing. This new method allows color to be more evenly distributed unlike aniline dyeing which is known to create garments with patchy and unevenness in color. Much like Teacore leather (Black Leather with a base coat of Brown), this jacket features a Red base coat under the dark seal brown. Overtime the striking red will appear and provide a beautiful highlight to spots that see high tension and wear.
